One final housekeeping note on the Amber Alert from tonight. First, thank you all for sharing this and getting the information out. I imagine I speak for law enforcement when I say they appreciate the extra level of alertness. Second, now that the children have been located and are safe, I will be deleting the previous two posts on this. Why? My reasoning is out of decorum for the girls. Once they are found and safe, I am one in the media who chooses to take down their images so they can maintain a level of privacy and, well, decency. These girls went through enough today, I imagine. I also strive to operate this way whenever I anchor. If a news story involves a child - especially one where they are injured or in some form of serious trauma -- I refrain from naming them unless the story is at a tragic enough point (such as a death) where this is a key component of the story. Out of respect for the children involved, I will delete any of my posts that contain an image of any of them. Perhaps consider doing the same if youve posted any links or stories that have their pictures. Thank you and good night. - Chris
