One important thing Ive learned about being a teacher is that one day you should expect some students to surpass you in the art of what ever it is you may teach. Instead of letting pride take over and closing your heart and mind to this inevitable truth. You embrace the fact that their skill will always be an extension from what you have once taught them and to be happy, for theyve reached that point because you provided the tools for them to do so. Im blessed to be a teacher and so proud of my students. I am grateful to them for taking what I have taught them and applying it to make themselves better.
