One month ago today at approximately 6PM my Father took his last breath with me by his side as Handels Messiah was playing in the background. On one of our last trips, which, both Papa and I loved to take, speeding down the highway in my white mustang, Pop who had a stroke in his last year and could barely speak, began to sing this song. We both began to sing it out loud as I blasted it and us down Route 80 heading for parts West. I stopped further down and hugged and kissed him. This was the song.
