One more Promotional Music Video from 1967, before going to bed, - TopicsExpress

One more Promotional Music Video from 1967, before going to bed, and a good time for a down beat tempo song, but still amazing. This particular Promotional Music Video also comes with the concept that an artist (either solo or band) couldnt always count on one of those videos to promote well, at least not right away, a song. In 1967, another one of better released albums was The Moody Blues Days of Future Passed (this is another one of those albums that in many ways, for me, surpasses The Beatles claim to fame that year, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.) It was indeed for many of us one of the best albums of all-time and certainly one of the all-time from The Moody Blues. The song released from the album was Nights In White Satin that unfortunately got only a release at the time in the UK (although many in the U.S. of course knew about the song from the album) and it went to #19. Unfortunately the single would not be released in the U.S. until 1972 when the orchestra behind the band was removed from the tracks (Ugh!) It would take until November 1972 before the remade version of The Moody Blues Nights in White Satin reached #2 on Billboard Magazines HOT 100 charts and #1 on Cash Box magazine charts here in the states. But the 1967 Promotional Music Video, using the original orchestra backed version of Nights in White Satin is one the best videos of all-time scenery wise as it was filmed in Paris, France in 1967: youtube/watch?v=9muzyOd4Lh8
