One of my favorite exercises to work the legs and booty - goblet squats! Grab a free weight (I like 20 lbs for this, but try one or two before settling on a weight) and perform a basic squat. Keep the knees behind the toes, stuck out the booty and the chest, and sit back. Press through the heels to lift back up to standing. You can slightly angle your toes toward the outsides if that feels better on the knees!
