One of my friend got an invitation to attend a seminar on charity organised by a university in U.S. He was in U.S. for a month. He described his wonderful days there. He did his thahjood Namaz from a masjid there for a month, first time in his life other than in Ramadan. It was a great experience. There were no Imam or Mukri in mosques. Daily each family will come n clean the mosque. From the people who come for Namaz, one will stand ahead as the Imam. There are no speeches like we do in our mosques. But, all sits together n decides what good deed they can perform for tomorrow. Good deeds like, each one should read atleast one page of Holy Quran. While leaving n entering house they should kiss their mother. Each should perform their thahjud Namaz strictly. They practices what they decides. One day, their thought was, if you have done a good thing to anyone. Forget that. Forget if someone had hurt you too. Such simple yet great things. What a lovely idea n a great way of living!!! N They dont have the conferences like we have which is just a wastage of our time n money.... Rasheed Thottathil.
