One of our team of nurses is studying towards a further qualification in exotic pets and wildlife care. She occasionally shares some of this new knowledge with us and I thought we might keep our Facebook friends in the loop with some if the more unusual facts as she passes them to us. So in the first of a new feature called Helens wildlife factoids -Did you know that juvenile male hedgehogs have green penises? She assures me they do though Im not sure why this came up over coffee this morning! More next week.
