One of the biggest reasons I give my volunteer energy to KKFI 90.1 FM as an institution, and with the radio shows Ive produced and hosted: The Tenth Voice KKFI and Wednesday MidDay Medley and other shows Ive helped foster and support: ARTSPEAK RADIO, and WomanSong Kkfi and River Trade Radio, is because COMMUNITY RADIO is only owned by the people. Our news and music and information and storytelling and documentation is completely free, and open, and native, and organic, and certainly not confined by the narrowcasting of commercial advertising machines. There is more to our world than the 24-7 broadcasting about Tom Bradys balls. Please read Rick Steves great editorial. Please help keep the free airwaves alive!
