One of the things that was left out of the 2014 initiative text was post conviction relief, in plain language there was no relief provide for those that had been convicted in the past. I am thinking that this should be included in any initiative text for 2016. But would be the proper mechanism to setup. I was thinking was thinking a Governors commission could be setup to review petitions presented by people who had been effected in the past. If no violence was involved I think the commission should be obliged to recommend the Governor approve a pardon for the petitioner. We are looking for ideas on how this could be done.
