One of the very first horror movies I saw (but only the screened, cut, television version back then) was Friday the 13th. Having the distinction of a very young Kevin Bacon in one of his first movie roles, it was one of the trendsetting movies of the time that lead to most “slasher films” killing off the young cast members after they have committed some sort of sin. While it definitely has a 70s vibe to it, it is still a great scary movie to watch this time of year. Quotable Lines Alice: “The boy. Is he dead, too?” Tierney: “Who?” Alice: “The boy. Jason.” Tierney: “Jason?” Alice: “In the lake, the one - the one who attacked me - the one who pulled me underneath the water.” Tierney: “Maam, we didnt find any boy.” Alice: “But - then hes still out there.” https://youtube/watch?v=gjiqwTv9yeI
