One year ago, I woke up to my first contraction. I, of course, thought nothing of it. I had been walking around for 2 weeks at 4 cm with Braxton hicks. Lilly wasnt due for another week but they were going to induce on Halloween anyway. I had no clue that I was going to meet my baby girl in less than 8 hours. I laboured at home for about 3 1/2 hours, directing Tyler to do the dishes and take out trash while I cleaned the bedrooms and vaccumed. Yes, I cleaned the entire place while in labor. Finally I got too tired and left for the hospital, the whole 2 blocks away that it was. Watching the nurses rush around after the figured out I was 7cm upon arrival, the same ones who told me they doubted I was in labor over the phone, was absolutely priceless. 3 hours of hard labor and countless derogatory words and statements later, our beautiful baby girl entered this world. ***disclaimer- be prepared for an endless amount of statuses and pictures today!! **** Tyler Selph
