Open letter to whoever is trying to sabotage the work of Youngstown Dogs..... REALLY?!?! Really?? I would like to know who has such a vendetta against me or someone that helps me and WHY?? What could be so bad that you are trying to defame us, slander us, spread nasty rumors about us, and now go so far as to try and thwart fundraising efforts?!?! SHAME ON YOU!! You know who you are hurting?? The DOGS! Explain to them why they cant be vetted. Explain to them what your problem is! We put the care of the dogs FIRST! There are 2 people I suspect and if right about either, then it is some kind of beef over a dog in the past or the way a dog wasnt being cared for properly. We have done many emergency visits, same day of rescue. THOUSANDS and thousands spent on the dogs, just on vetting alone. We rely almost 100% on donations as we rarely do private adoptions. This week alone, we have 2 dogs being neutered (one possibly needing a tooth pulled), another going for initial vetting, another going to have stitches removed and recheck after he had to have dew claws removed in addition to his neuter, and we need to look at getting Andie in for full work up pretty soon here. Thats 5 dogs being vetted alone just this week. 2 recent rescues that will need vetted if not claimed or taken by rescue. Not to mention hw preventative due for many over the next 2 weeks. Along with food, supplies, so many other things, AND boarding for those who have nowhere else to go. I cannot believe someone would be so cruel as to do this to a group that does right by the dogs. Just what do you hope to accomplish?? Most of these dogs have NO ONE else! If not for what we do, would be subject to life on the streets. And you want to keep them from being helped?! I have worked very hard on these efforts and sacrificed so much. I have tried my best to make this a very respected and stellar group. Like many rescues, we have been subject to trouble makers, drama queens, and gossip mongers who seem to have nothing better to do than to sit at computers and criticize people that are actually DOING! Whatever it is you dont agree with, hey cant please everyone. Yes, I am careful about where the dogs go. I have to look out for them the best I can. You have some kind of problem? YOU TAKE IT UP WITH ME! But I suspect you will continue to be a coward, hiding behind your blocked anonymous phone calls, emails, etc. Funny thing is.....so many base things on what they hear that ends up being untrue. Wouldnt that be a doozy if someone would have just come to me and said something and all this could have been cleared up. I dont care if you message me, or publicly ask me something, but I suspect the guilty party/parties wont. Frankly, I dont have time for debates or drama. Do I agree with what other rescue people or shelters or groups do? NO! Absolutely not! But I would NEVER stoop so low as try and hurt the dogs. I would not think of going to lengths that whoever is doing this is going to. I will say it again....SHAME ON YOU!! Woman up and you take it up with me and you LEAVE OUR YOUNGSTOWN DOGS ALONE!!
