Opening for MBA with 2 years experience In merchandise Planning CTC-INR6,00,000 PA Hypercity retail Mumbai, malad Job Title: Merchandise Planner - Mumbai, Malad Job Description: JOb Summary: - Planners strategize the sales to turn inventory by identifying and communicate potential inventory liabilities and drive appropriate actions for resolution. - Will be responsible for the development and maintenance of seasonal merchandise plans and location plans. - Studying purchase trends of the customers, fashion and seasonal trends for forecasting the purchase of goods for the store. - Develop and maintain the merchandise and location plans - Recommend sales and inventory adjustments based on trend, to maximize business. - Develop departmental store level plans for sales and inventory. Monitor and adjust plans on an ongoing basis to maximize opportunities. - Perform analysis and apply different allocation methods to ensure the proper assortment and inventory levels by location. - Setting standards for inventory management - Evaluating sales reports/other reports of the store. - Assessing market surveys and customer feedback reports on various products. - Coordinating and synchronizing work functions with internal team. - Studying the strategies of competitor stores. - Perform ongoing reporting and analysis including: weekly business recaps, sales and inventory by department and by location, receipt flow forecast, buy recommendations, and additional ad hoc reporting as needed. Analyzing and evaluating the sales strategy and the promotional strategies of the store. Evaluating the target and goal of the store and strategizing to achieve the same Devising innovating ideas and suggestions to lure customers to the store.
