What next... ask the schools to query the students if they have parents who smoke at home.. and fine them or worse ... consider them unfit parents ? Think I have gone off the deep end with these ludicrous predictions... no more so than the laws that have come out of New York, California, and numerous other states... to include Oregon it would appear. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The Oregon House passed Senate Bill 444 Monday in a 43-15 vote, against the objections of some lawmakers who groused about it as a “nanny state” provision, or questioned its effectiveness. The bill would allow police to ticket smokers if they were pulled over for another offense.
