Our Architecture Licensure Board Review is comprehensive program that is very efficient because of our holistic curriculum, innovative teaching methods, competent academician, and high quality teaching materials. The syllabus places particular emphasis on theories, history of architecture, architectural practice, building codes, building utilities, building materials, building construction, structural conceptualization and architectural design taking considerations the new trends of architecture licensure examination into account. Module 1: Theory and Criticism, History of Architecture, Sustainability, Tropical Design Urban Planning, Architectural Practice and Building Laws is composed of 10 sessions of 8 hours each session of combined studio based lectures, dialogues and workshops, each of which individualized to have an in-depth study. Module 3: 3D Analysis of National Building Code Rule 7 and 8, this module is focused on the Philippine National Building Code (PD 1096) Rule 7 and 8 whereby students are taught in-depthly on the 2d and 3d computations of the code compliance. Particular emphasis is given on the case-based problems of different building types concerning computations such as AMBF, USA, ISA, PSO etc including estimates and quantity survey which is repeatedly given in the current architecture board examinations. Module 4: Architectural Design Studio, an 10 sessions of 8 hours per session focusing on advanced theoretical and studio-based architectural design of various building types. The module is done through intensive lectures brainstorming, and workshops of design problems such as low rise residential, med-rise residential, high rise residential, office condominiums, hotels and hospitality design, schools, government and semi-government offices, shopping malls, industrial and factories, bus and air/sea port terminal, cultural and convention centers taking into account the trends of the architecture licensure examinations. Module 5: Refresher, Rationalization and Coaching, this is a 7 days intense course where students are refreshed of the basic module undertaken. This is normally done through dialogue and forum where students are equip with the complete knowledge for successfully passing the board exam. 5 days before the exam, the students are comfortably house in one dormitory or hotel with the Studio Master and some lecturer s for a 3- day personalized coaching. Air or land transportation and accommodation of students from Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Singapore and Tacloban are arranged by ArcStudio so students can focus with their studies.
