Our Christmas wish and prayer, Theres only one thing I would like for Christmas and im not asking for much. I would like a house for me and my kids to live in. I havent lived under the same roof with my kids going on 2 years now. Sadly this town makes it nearly impossible (with rent being CRAZY outrageous for a two bedroom) for any single parent with one income and no child support to do so off a dental assistant salery. Ive been patiently waiting on the housing list in Santa Cruz county for section 8 and low income now for 5 years hoping my name will come up soon. I hate my stuff being in storage and its driving me insaine not being able to live under the same roof as my kids. I miss picking them up and dropping them off at school everyday. I miss my weekend mornings and evenings we used to have together listening to Tristan get mad at his big sister Cheyenne for using the rest of the milk for cereal. Im not as involved in thier lives as I used to be when we had a home to call our own. I cry most night in bed because Im not there to tuck them in with kisses and say goodnight. Loosing our house two years ago flip our world upside down and sideways leaving them to live with grandma in boulder creek for the past two years. I Olny ask that Lord you grant us a miracle and that a affordable house come up with two bedrooms for us to live in together again. Im not asking for a new car or a dimond ring or even a new wardrobe or husband. I only want to be able to afford a two bedroom for Cheyenne, Tristan and I. Please Lord grant us a house or a winning lottery ticket, ether one would do. Im even working on getting a secound job because I dont have the luxury of another partners income to help with. I prey Lord for your help to get me and my babies back together again under the same roof. I could careless about anything else this year or onto the next....just a place to live.
