Our Dear Friend Michelle Wrote This : A Letter From Bobcat Dear Billie Jo and Dat Dad, My life on earth may have been short; trying to catch the ceiling fan will always be my favorite sport. Please do be mad that we had to part; I have always loved you from the start. I will watch you from above, please give Dad all my love; don’t make him get out the glove. I know it was hard for Dad to let me go, but I am with you more than you know. I fought as hard as any ninja could, but it wasn’t in my card. If you look and look real hard; you will see me standing guard. Franklin, Scooter, and Capri, if you look you will see me high up in the tree with Rheba’s cat Soo-Shi….. We are trying to catch that Big B! When I left for the bridge, I could see Snaggles on the ridge standing there waiting with the key, so I can meet others that went on before me. The heavens opened up and welcomed me home and God said “you are not alone; there is Ranger sitting on his throne.” The bridge is a beautiful place where you can run and be carefree, but I left others behind that will cry and miss me. If you see a dark shadow or a golden halo; don’t be alarmed that is just me visiting the farm. Aunt Ursula would be proud; I am the star ninja….I have my own cloud. I looked for the squirrel; he could not be found…..I must have left him there lying on the ground. Up here at the bridge, there are no spats or hisses; I truly miss dat Dads’ kisses. I know you are full of tears; I wish I could have been with you for many more years. Misty, Woody, Zipper Buzz, and Fred there is a stash of crunchies under my bed. Tommy Peaches, Dingo, and Mini Mite; I will always be your shining light. Butters, oh Butters; I loved you like no other; make sure you give hugs and kisses to my “big” brother. Winston, Johnnie Cat and Marv, boy how you have grown; you must continue ninja training…you cannot go it alone. Reversala, Rose, and Tri-Cat, the women of the house…please give Scooter my furry mouse. I will be watching from above, please make sure you give dad lots of love. I wish, oh, how I wish that I was still there, please don’t forget me at the lair. Billie Jo, my sister, ninja, and friend…I loved you til the very end. When times get tough and the tears start to fall, just remember that I loved you most of all. Dad, life isn’t always fair to be taken away far too young; my life had just began…Dad, you are my forever friend and you were with me until the very end. I know that you were put to the test because you there holding me until I took my last breath. Dad, I know it hurts, but you must go on and just remember that I was your favorite young one. When you look out that windows ledge; you will see me sitting on the Bridge waiting to be reunited with you once again.
