Our Internet Sensation Officer of the Day is....Officer Charlene Traub of the Beachwood (Ohio) Police Department. Officer Traub repponded to the call of the suicidal female on the Cedar Road Bridge. The subject was cutting her wrists and threatening to jump into Interstate 271 traffic. Officer Traub remained calm and spoke with the person for several minutes. The subject eventually walked to the police car. She was injured but otherwise safe. We thank Officer Traub for her dedication,professionalism and a job well done. Carry on!....Chief Oliver.
