Our family was gifted with a much needed last vacation before we move to Ethiopia! I think we are all still in shock that we are really alone together in such a beautiful resort (which - get this - is AFRICAN themed!) and enjoying 90 degree weather. Everyone has been laughing and smiling since we arrived. So many favorite memories have already been made on the drive down and our first hours here. I am begging God to slow time down for this week. We all needed this more than we knew and are so, so thankful. I wont be on Facebook much for the next week or so, and I apologize that I have not responded to all of my inbox messages. I have not even opened them yet. We just need this time uninterrupted together right now - we need to be wild, crazy US. :) These people are my favorites ever - I have the BEST family! Probably the funniest thing already happened last night when Habi and I went to use the fitness room. We had to go to the front desk to exchange our condo key for the fitness room key. I let Habi do the talking (because we all know I am introverted like that!), and he handed over our key and received the other key. The receptionist then looked at me and sternly said you have to be 18 to use the fitness room. I stared at her and probably rudely, because I was dumb-founded, replied Um, Im 34! Still perplexed....she thought my 14 year old was 18, and that I was not yet?! HUH? Perhaps I will stay here in this fairy-land forever. ;)
