I have been spaded from the early days in San Diego surfing with our crew off Reed Street in South PB to now where I have had the privilege over the last ten years to represent SRH as a paramedic specialist and rescue diver during most dangerous Shark Week productions ever filmed. Discovery only takes me when the potential for catastrophic injury is highest. This year I traveled to Mexico, the Bahamas and to Key West to film BIG sharks doing amazing things. The production teams I travel with swim and interact with these animals without the protection of cages, shark repellent or bang sticks, thus the need for my line of work.
