Our new member of our family, Simba, 3 years young, terrier mix, very sweet dog, weighs only 8# and is very laid back, not hyper at all.! He was a rescue out of Othello,Wash.(eastern Wash) and ended up at the no kill rescue shelter Sunny Skys Rescue, in Puyallup. Thats where I found him! .They neutered him, microchipped him and gave him his shots, before I could bring him home. He is adjusting very well and since he is so laid back I took him to our vet yesterday for a well dog visit and he passed with flying colors. Now to the groomers to work on this curly wirey hair., His name, Simba, was on the paperwork so we kept it, cuz he answers to it. He has a white collar of hair that goes around his neck, so I think thats where they (?) got his name, like a lions mane!! More pics to follow!!
