We checked in with the coaches of the Bad Hatters (Bam Bam McGee and Goodnight Doom) to see how their training is progressing. BH: Five of our skaters are new: Vespa Violentina, Lreign of Terror, Lumbre De La Luna, Star DRuckus, and Jägerbomb. LADD: Who are some fresh meat skaters to watch for and why? BH: I dont really want to single out any skaters because that just creates a weird atmosphere. LADD: How would you describe the team’s identity? Are the Subpool skaters mentoring the rookies to accelerate their learning on the track? BH: This team is a real team. There are no super stars. Everyone works together. The more experienced girls are not being divas, theyre actively working with the newer girls to help increase their skill and comfort levels. LADD: What message do you want to share with the opposing team in this BDB? BH: Were really looking forward to sharing the track with such skilled athletes. It promises to be a great night and a very competitive bout. LADD: What would this team’s spirit animal be and why? BH: Spirit animal would be your mom because shes really wild and all over us.
