Our night out at The Kitchin in Leith - what a wonderful meal, even got to see the man himself working through open kitchen window and got a Good Evening from him as walked past me, was so chuffed but all could muster was a smile! Arrived and had drinks at bar and was served shards of 4 different flavours with a dip. Then on to the table where we were given sour dough bread in little tartan fabric baskets with butter on side dish while waiting for our chosen food. We both chose the Chefs Seasonal Tasting Menu: see photos for each course, if you really want. Phew - 2.5 hrs in restaurant and the staff were amazing and service second to none!! Sorry to go on but amazing night and wont be forgotten and may be repeated, thank you to the Rae Clan Steph Rae, Kim Rae, Greta Rae, Jim Rae, Alan, Rach, Hamish & Jess) for this wonderful gift it was thoroughly enjoyed!!!!! Photos not the best as taken on phone but you will get the idea!!
