Our second DaileyVincent Land Fest has come and gone. What a fun - TopicsExpress

Our second DaileyVincent Land Fest has come and gone. What a fun time we had. All of our guests sang and played their hearts out including the boys in our band. It was fun for Darrin and I to get on stage with Rhonda Vincent and the Rage (aka) the energizer bunny! She always gives 200%. It meant a lot to me to get to play a set of music with two of my former band mates and former Quicksilver alumni Terry Baucom, Lou Reid and Barry Scott with BJ Cherryholmes helping us out. Lou and Terry are legendary bluegrass treasures for sure! Its always cool to watch icon Bobby Osborne do his thing. Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers were a highlight. The Steeldrivers were awesome, Carl Hurley made everyone laugh with his down home humor. The Primitive Quartet was a blessing. Terry Baucom and the Dukes of Drive certainly held up their title especially with the drive part! Lou Reid and Carolina was as smooth as silk and of course Gene Watson sang his country songs as great as he always has. The Bethel College bluegrass band and band contest winners were crowd favorites and it was special to me that my dad JB came on stage and played the Great Speckled Bird for everyone. The Darrel Webb band was high octane as usual and our good friends The Whites brought a mixture of their country, bluegrass and heartfelt gospel songs to a much appreciative audience. Cindy Baucom worked very hard to keep us all in line. Karen Miller and all of her volunteers, staff and family worked harder than ever to help make this event possible. Also, thank you to John Holder Sound. Also, a huge thank you to all of the DJs and news outlets who helped promote DaileyVincent Fest. You guys are awesome! The audience was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Thank you Lord! We are already looking forward to next year!
