Our text this morning was out of Luke 2 verse 7. And she broght forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddlimg cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. We are all well versed with this Bible text and also aware of the period we are living in. Our Bishop shared Christmas greetings from our DA and Apostle and then wished the congregation. The message for today reminds us that Jesus was born in poor and humble conditions. It says that God loves the poor, those that are disadvantaged and not well off. He gives His salvation to the poor in spirit because they are aware of their dependancy upon God. However, we are rich in faith. Those that are rich and poor in a natural sense have to be rich in faith in order to receive salvation. I wish you all a peaceful and pleasant day ahead, enjoy lunch and the togetherness of family.
