Out of the grave again? NO FOR BELIEVERS!!! We know that every man before the death and resurrection of Jesus that died went to hades or Sheol which is hell under the earth (Luke 16:19-) where there were divisions including Abrahams bosom (paradise of comfort), and the places of torment including tatarus. Ok now we know Jesus when he died went to this place even including the two thieves on his sides. Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. The one that believed him went to comfort (paradise beneath-Abrahams bosom) and the other to torment just like Lazarus and the rich king. The Bible makes us to understand that Jesus went to liberate the inhabitants of Abrahams bosom by his resurrection.... Where there is no one in the place of Abrahams bosom anymore (place for the dead righteous dead men) but the place of torments yes, there are people which believed not in God or Jesus who are reserved for the lake of fire... Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Now the question is these captives the Lord took captives from hell or hades out of Abrahams bosom where are they now and now, when a believer should die where does he go? Does the believer still go to hades or Sheol or hell to Abrahams bosom again or what? Know this. Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Psa 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Psa 24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Psa 24:10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. This was talking about when Jesus ascended and was to be received into heaven with his hosts (saints or captives). Now see this Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved; ) Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: The Bible says he has made us sit in Christ in heaven why? Cos in heaven its either you sit as a King or stand but the Bible says he has made us kings thats why we are seated. Now all the righteous men of old who used to be in hades or hell or Abrahams bosom are in heaven with all believers who are also now citizens of heaven. Now another question, so if believers should die do they still go back to hell (Abrahams bosom) or what. We know that unbelievers are still there in torments of hell but with believers what happens? Now see this about Stephen... Act 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Act 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. 2Cr 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 2Cr 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2Cr 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Stephen tells Jesus to receive his Spirit, to where? To heaven of course for Jesus is in heaven! Now we again see Apostle Paul also making us understand that to die is to be with the Lord!!! About the graves being opened! Know this that if a believer should die he does not remain in the grave neither does he anymore go down to hell(Abrahams bosom) but rather is received into heaven...but the flesh remains in the grave for dust must go to dust but the real man which is Spirit goes appears in heaven! Now Paul makes us to understand this...... [1 Corinth.15:39-40-BBE] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, another of beasts, another of birds, and another of fishes. [40] And there are bodies of heaven and bodies of earth, but the glory of the one is different from that of the other. [1 Corinthians 5:1] For we are conscious that if this our tent of flesh is taken down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in heaven. [2] For in this we are crying in weariness, greatly desiring to be clothed with our house from heaven: [3] So that our spirits may not be unclothed. [4] For truly, we who are in this tent do give out cries of weariness, for the weight of care which is on us; not because we are desiring to be free from the body, but so that we may have our new body, and death may be overcome by life. There is a glorious body in heaven just as we had a body of this earth. Remember that the body of this earth we will need it no more, so why would a believer who is dead and is in heaven with the Lord come back to his grave for? The body of dust??? NO!!! So what if such a believer never even had a grave what would open up for him!!! Get the spirit of the Word!!! Now concerning our gathering together unto the Lord in the air... 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. and the dead in Christ shall rise first- this phrase is what we must look into well, some believing the dead would come out of the graves but its not so!
