Over 350 people protested peacefully at the Ineos site at Grangemouth today. All ages and political persuasions were in attendance saying loud and clear that fracking is not welcome in Scotland, or anywhere. People were worried about the effects of fracking on their health, their local environment and the fight against climate change. Calls were made to show solidarity with other communities resisting dirty unconventional gas projects across UK and across the world. Speakers urged us to put as much pressure as possible on the Scottish Government to ban this dirty industry once and for all. Really well done to all the organisers and all of you who came from all across Scotland!
