Over the past several years, Michael Frybarger (a.k.a. Flagwaver) has participated with Wreaths Across America (WAA) in both fund raising and placing wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington DC. With his direct involvement, he has seen the event grown by leaps and bounds. The experience is life altering. When you visit Arlington, or any other veterans cemetery around the country, it is truly awe inspiring. Since its inception, the Jacob Russell Boulanger Memorial Fund for Truckers inc. has been a fund raising partner with Wreaths Across America. We, as an organization and as individuals, believe in the mission of remembering those who have fallen in service of our nation, honoring those who serve, teaching the American public about the importance of our freedoms we often take for granted. As an fund raising associate of Wreaths Across America, this charity assists in fund raising and developing further awareness of its mission. In the past two years we have had information on our website about Wreaths Across America. Again, this year, we will have information and links to guide you to their website and to the information about what they do and how you can help. A change this year will be how the associate program with Wreaths Across America is administered. As we get closer to the wreath laying ceremonies on December 14th of this year, we ask that you use the link below to go to the associate program with Wreaths Across America so that both of our charities benefit. As you make an offering to help Wreaths Across America in its mission, you also will be benefiting truck drivers in need. Every penny that JRBM receives from this type of donation goes directly to truck drivers who, because of no fault of their own, have fallen on hard time. The majority of the requests that we receive are because of health issues such as cancer, accidents where they are injured, and heart issues. For every wreath that you sponsor from Wreaths Across America, a five dollar donation is received by the Jacob Russell Boulanger Memorial Fund. Every penny you donate ends up going to a driver who may need his rent or mortgage paid for a month or to pay for food so his children don’t go to school hungry. Often, a driver just needs a little bit of help for a month or two. Many get back to work and are thankful that this and other charities helped them keep their heads above water long enough to get back working.
