Over the years, Ive witnessed my grandkids give freely from their little hearts - Shayne, at 14 years old taking care of a dying family friend, Emily, Erika and Hunter giving their entire stash of money to Bible school - and last night Elena told me that for her birthday party, all those attending have been instructed to omit all birthday gifts for her, and instead to bring items for care packages that her church will be sending to the mission fields. I am so proud of my grandkids and of my children - Carrie and Larry, and Rick and Karen - for leading by example. I am abundantly blessed!
