Overnight Company 32 and mutual aid were dispatched to the area of Progress Ave and Sunnyside in the 32-2 box for reports of smoke from a house. The Police department quickly arrived and gave a correct address on Sunnyside Ave and reported a working fire and possibly people inside. Engine 32 with 5 and the Tower with 3 arrived and found the home secured, cars parked out front, and no homeowners outside with a moderate smoke condition from all sides of the house. Crews forced entry and the truck crew conducted a quick primary which was negative for any victims while throwing ladders and horizontally venting while the Engine crew made quick work of the fire. The incident was quickly scaled back to units from Progress for overhaul and to assist in the investigation.
