PAP leaders keep on gathering their stooges and warning Singaporeans against the danger of religious extremism and their worries that Singapore Muslims might be influenced by the actions of militants thousands of miles sway. Actually they should not worry too much about it because by and large the Muslim community here is rational and wise enough to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. The PAP should instead worry about what the community thinks about its double standards and duplicity in handling such problems. It should rethink its blind support for the actions of the west, especially the US which have killed hundreds of thousands in Iraq on the pretext of destroying WMD, the existence of which was never proven. It should also review its one sided position on the Palestinian issue and condemn the Israeli occupation of their territory and the injustice perpetrated against Palestinians on a daily basis. The destruction and scenes of massacre of women and children in Gaza are still fresh in the minds of the Muslim community. If you cannot be even handed dont try to wayang your way through. We are not stupid!
