PASSING ON OF PROVINCIAL TREASURER OF THE ANC, CDE. YOLANDA BOTHA The African National Congress (ANC) in the Northern Cape mourns the death of its Provincial Treasurer, National Working Committee member of the ANC Women’s League and Member of Parliament, Comrade Yolanda Botha, who passed on, on Sunday, 28 December 2014 in Kimberley. This after a long battle with cancer. Comrade Yolanda Botha served as a member of the ANC in various capacities. She received her political grooming in the ANC where she served as the 1st branch secretary in Upington, ANC Extention Branch (1993-1994), she was then elected as the Provincial Treasurer of the ANC Women’s League from 1997-2001. Cde Yolanda was a member of the Provincial Executive committee from 1996 to date she then was elected a member of the ANCWL National Executive Committee in 2003 where she served until her passing. She was a dedicated and committed member of the ANC who gave her life to serving the people of the province and the country. Her commitment to the realization of a better life for all will forever be treasured and appreciated. Further details on her funeral and memorial arrangements will be communicated in due course.
