PEACE NOW: POWER IS NOT EVERYTHING! The country Ghana’s foundation was characterised by unity as well as nationalism spirit to building this country based on our authentic culture which glue us together as one nation .A country that has proven beyond doubt to the western world that an African is capable of managing his or her own affairs without imperialism. A country that has the true descendants of the tribe of Judea; Eµe, Ga, Akan, Guan, among others which has totally reflected in the strategic location of the country as the only country in ‘the centre of the earth’. An enviable position which they have manipulated to name the standard time after a town in UK; Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT) instead of Tema Meridian Time (TMT) in Ghana. Is it because of power that Ghana should be plunged into chaos or divided? The 56 years journey without civil wars we are still struggling to develop behind Malaysia, Singapore and the likes. The battle is not among ourselves as a country, the battle is between the Africans coming together to eliminate inferiority complex and to fighting the dangerous obstacles of neo-colonialism and imperialism. We had our own system of government before the whites came, if what they imposed on us is alien to our culture, why can’t we adopt our own system of government based on our consensual culture since culture is dynamic in this contemporary world to build Ghana into destination country. We keep on saying that Ghana is a ‘GOD FEARING NATION’; however, we keep on doing worldly things, why? I normally have problem with some of the pastors in a sense that the sermon that they preach to us nowadays is absolutely characterised by PROSPERITY instead of SALVATION that would surely lead to prosperity. Moralism based on our culture and in relation to the GOOD NEWS should be adhered to instead of legal realism which is the root of power struggling and litigation. Power is not everything; power belongs to the satanic world. Don’t let the verdict disintegrate this beautiful nation founded by the toiled and blood of our forefathers (ancestors), please! Let open a new chapter for Ghana in unity devoid of tribal sentiment meaning GOD HAS A NEW ASSIGNMENT (GHANA) and protect the oil at least for the next 26 years from foreign looting. LEARN FROM RWANDA, LIBERIA, SIERRA LEONE, etc! Let GHANA be peace! AMEN!
