PETER McBRIDE From an earlier posting of the photo below of the James McBride family...their son, Peter, is pictured seated on the far left. He was born in Corpus Christi on August 3, 1863. He would marry Minnie Alice Priour, the daughter of Julian Priour. He and his wife remained in Corpus Christi until 1913 when they moved to Realitos, in Duval County. He became a successful rancher, running various breeds of cattle. In August, 1955, the Caller-Times ran a full page story on the lives of Peter and Minnie McBride. The photo below of the couple on their 65th wedding anniversary was included in the article. Together, Peter and Minnie had 8 children, 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He died on Nov 22, 1957 at the age of 94. His wife, Minnie, died on Oct 4, 1959. They are buried together in Rose Hill Cemetery in Corpus Christi (see marker)
