PLEASE READ: We all have bad days. This is a fact. If anyone tries to tell you that they dont than they are lying to you. Today was one of those days for me. It just seemed like one bad thing after another today. The way that I responded to this was not exactly Christ-like. I did not exhibit the fruit of the Spirit but rather chose to respond with my flesh. This was the wrong response. I found myself complaining and throwing a pity party for myself. I found myself getting angry. Was the devil tempting me? Maybe. But Im not going to blame him. Thats exactly what Eve tried to do in the garden of Eden. Adam tried to blame Eve and Eve tried to blame the devil. I took my bad attitude and the sin that I committed to the throne of grace and confessed my sins to our gracious God in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I heard the still small voice of the Father through His Holy Spirit say, I forgive you son. He is slow to anger and abounding with grace! His mercy and loving kindness have greater depth, width, length, and height than we can even fully comprehend with our natural minds! Those who work with me or have worked with me may get a laugh out of this and thats okay! :-) Trust me, Ive had plenty of bad days before. This wasnt a first, lol. I found it necessary however to share this with everyone though as I know someone needs to hear this. Ive been walking with Christ now for over a decade. He is always willing to forgive when I repent and if Im open and honest with Him about my sins (1 John 1:9)! He never leaves us nor forsakes us (Hebrews 13:5)!
