PLEASING ME IS NEVER EASY In the musical sense…geez guys get your minds outta the gutter! :-P Anywhoozle, Katy B skipped across my radar back in 2011 when she debuted, but it wasnt until the release of her sophomore album Little Red that I because obsesses (it was literally one of the best albums of 2014). However, I just came across this awesome little ditty from her first album On A Mission. Its snarky, its catchy, its totally relatable, and its modern with a twist back to the late 90s early 2000s. Shes really talented not only in her beats (those synth horns here!) but more noteworthy to me is her word-play. Its not overly complicated, but its also not the words and phrases omnipresent in pop music today that render things rather meaningless.
