PM Fleet Controller Our company is currently seeking an experienced PM Fleet Controller to assist with the day to day operation at one of our contracts based in the South East Suburbs. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be a hands on person who can lead a fleet of drivers to ensure safe, efficient and timely outcomes are achieved. The ability to load plan or to be trained with a thorough understanding of the customers business, expectations and requirements will be essential to your success. This position is heavily focused on operations and an extensive knowledge and / or experience within the transport industry is required, this includes, but is not limited to; safety practices and procedures, load limits and Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) Specific responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to) the following Ensure safety and legislative requirements are adhered to Maintain optimal efficiencies with fleet scheduling and movement of freight Ensure all designated freight is loaded and dispatched within agreed time frames Be aware of and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures Allocate and create jobs in system and ensure all information entered is accurate. Enable and deliver effective communications to employees and the client Provide daily and weekly reports Strong Analytical Skills Essential criteria Good written & verbal communication skills Professional attitude and strong customer focus Computer literacy with SAP,Outlook, MS Office and Excel will be highly regarded Experience in managing and improving the performance of drivers Team player with a friendly approach towards others Be available to work the hours between Midday to 9pm Applications to be received by COB 19th January 2015 To be considered for this role please email your CV to: [email protected]
