PMNRF progress 2014: The process of transfer of funds directly into the Bank accounts of beneficiaries continues under PMNRF, for reconstruction of pucca-kutcha houses that have been fully damaged during the 2014 floods in Jammu & Kashmir. At the end of the year 2014, an amount of Rs.48,34,00, 000/- has been transferred into the accounts of 6554 beneficiaries. The state government has been requested to provide the bank details of beneficiaries wherever the same have not been provided, so as to directly transfer funds into such accounts. In addition NDMA has identified HLL Lifecare Limited, a public sector undertaking, for procurement of essential hospital equipments so as to make the hospitals in J&K, which were damaged during the floods, fully functional. An MoU has been signed with HLL and a sanction of Rs. 113.05 cr for procurement of 194 items has been approved, with Rs. 80 cr transferred as advance. A monitoring mechanism has been created to monitor progress and review installation preparedness by the state government of J&K
