POEM (SONG) TWENTY THREE - LOST IN A MOMENT OF TIME LOST IN A MOMENT IN TIME As I walk alone, reminiscing my past. I think to myself – how the good times don’t last. When we were together – we were one family. But now they are gone – and that leaves only me. Then right beside me – they all re- appear. The people I love – the ones I hold dear. Talking and laughing – and wishing me well. Take me away from my own living hell. CHORUS I was lost for a instant in a moment in time. Lost in a dream when I knew they were mine. Trapped in a crowd of those faces divine. Lost in a moment in time. And of course, she was there, with her silver grey hair. The smile on her face, I would know anywhere. I told her I loved her, she said ‘I love you.’ And she looked at me then – just as all mothers do. Then a flurry of tears, made them all disappear. Gone were the loved ones, I’ll always hold dear. I was still on the path, with no end yet in sight. Walking alone, in the afternoon light. CHORUS I was lost for an instant in a moment in time. Lost in a dream when I knew they were mine.
