POLITICS: Being true to my word about not being negative toward any candidate or party for the next two years, I am going to bring us issues which I hope will be read and thought about. If anyone wants to comment, I welcome that but if something comes out as a negative I will delete it. The first topic is about the amount of money our government is spending on GLOBAL WARMING. President Obama has it set up to spend a great deal of money on this aspect of science for reasons he believes are pertinent. The Republicans are against this saying that there really isnt a global warming. My personal quandary starts with all of these experts both sides bring out. Some profess global warming taking place with mans enhancement others say it is happening but man has nothing to do with it. Still others are saying that we are actually in a 20 year cooling cycle and havent had any news to the contrary. Being a conservative I hope that there isnt any global warming going on. Right now the only way to tell is to stack up the scientists that agree about the coming of higher seas, dead polar bears, and international strife toward mankind (Dont get me wrong here - if there is global warming it will just about ruin civilization as we know it). Then stack them up against all those experts that say there isnt. And have the majority win doesnt really sound like a good plan of attack here. We could have each scientist defend his or her treatise. But hold that symposium open to only those with scientific degrees which deal with the subject at hand and not allow any politicians participation. Pending that, anyone want to stick their personal opinion out here for the rest of us to see? Does anyone really know where his or her candidate stands on this issue and why? I mean there are over two billion dollars budgeted for it and thats what is at stake.
