****POOR MEGAN IS SO SCARED**** MEGAN’s intake saga reads like an episode from Mayberry RFD what with the amiable police officer commenting on the dog’s extreme friendliness. We don’t know exactly what happened between Mr Police Officer and the temperament assessment test but MEGAN ended up as a New Hope Only adoption. Let’s back up a sec. MEGAN is only 1-year old and she’s medium in size for a pit bull mix. MEGAN did well during her evaluation except that she prized her food and rawhide rewards so much that she growled when they were pulled from her. That’s a no-no and hence the New Hope Only. MEGAN is a beautiful young dog who simply needs some stability in her routines and expectations. She doesn’t deserve to die tomorrow but that’s the plans since she caught kennel cough. Will you take MEGAN’s future to heart and work to find a new home for her tonight? She only has hours left to live.
