Under the direction of the Court Executive 2B (Human Resources Division Manager), the Vicinage Training Coordinator will be responsible for the effective implementation of vicinage-wide training programs. Responsibilities will include functioning as an internal consultant, lead interventions for managers or assist in the development of plans for performance improvement; maintain and update learning management information system; develop, design, coordinate, conduct and/or facilitate training sessions; conduct new employee orientation and management leadership programs; recommend training programs; coordinate or assist with municipal court training as needed; research and identify a resource of subject matter experts and trainers within community; maintain and coordinate new relationships with existing training sites; transport training equipment and supplies to and from training sites in and outside of the vicinage; present proposals for budgetary purposes; conduct training needs assessment annually; serve on or lead vicinage committees or task forces; mentor and coach staff; provide technical advice and assistance to staff, peers, supervisors and managers; partner with senior and executive management in identifying strategic planning initiatives that may involve training. Additional areas of responsibility will include coordinating, facilitating, and administering law clerk training; publishing the vicinage newsletter; serving as the Co-Chair for the Vicinage’s Wellness Committee; and perform other related duties as required. The successful candidate must possess excellent PC Skills. REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree. EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of professional experience in Human Resources: payroll processing, benefits administration, salary administration, labor/employee relations, training, selection/recruitment or Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action. SUBSTITUTION: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one such experience being equal thirty (30) semester hour credits. An Associate’s Degree and two years of additional paraprofessional or professional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for one year of experience. A law degree may be substituted for two years of experience. NOTE: Experience in conducting training sessions or orientation programs, implementing projects or programs, assessing individual or group training needs, or developing communication plans within or outside our organization is preferred. DRIVER’S LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a drivers license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position. AUTHORIZATION TO WORK: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
