POSTING AS ALI.....Yay....good news!! Looks like i msy be going home on Monday afternoon if all goes well. Cant wait to get a decent nights sleep after over 3 weeks in a ward full of sweet old ladies with broken hips who become a bloody nightmare once ths lights go out with them screaming & holloring all night only to sleep all bloody day! Im tearing my hair out frequently around 2am!! Its funny now but im ready to walk or hop in my case right out of here & was in tears last night as its like a form of torture, lol! Anyway once home the district nurses will come 3 times a day to give me IV antibiotics & change the vac pump dressing for next 3-4 weeks. I feel like my old self again thank goodness & looking forward to getting home to my lovely Joe, Gina & Sweet Boudica & Ziggy who ive missed so much. Thank you to all those who sent get well wishes, they meant a lot. Hopefully i can get back to my job as Ziggys PA soon...he is such a demanding little chap! See you all next week, love Ali x OMG its all kicking off here with the old ladies demanding attention & screaming so i had to hobble over mid typing this to tell the real trouble maker to behave as i cannot go through another night like last night with all her demands & hysteria as she isnt confused because of her age its obvious she has just been spoilt & never been told NO in her life! I should write a book on all the things ive seen in my many hospital stays.....i cant believe peoples behavior at times. She accuses the nurses of neglect which isnt the case at all & calls her son & family telling lies about what they have or havent done which i have put them right when they visit as they know she is a real pain too!! I never imagined i would raise my voice to an elder as i respect them so much but this woman is something else! My care has been amazing in this hospital. (Barnet) so different than my 6 week stay last year at Chase Farm which was just horrific! Goodnight dear friends, love Ali x
