POWER TO BE SPECIAL By Apostle Zilley Aggrey on Sunday, 07/20/14 Hosea 4:6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge Satan does everything to frustrate God’s people from obtaining knowledge. People are crazy about titles. Satan wants to make the ministry of teaching hated. No one ever introduces themselves as a “teacher” (even though it is one of the five-fold ministry)!!! The level of knowledge you know has the capacity of introducing you to your breakthrough. Anywhere the word is being spoken, there is an explosion of power to produce miracles. God is a special God. When Israel crossed the Red Sea, Moses raise a song “Who is like unto thee? O Lord, Among the gods, who is like thee? Glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders” Beloved, because God is a special God, he does special things for special people. The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a special church that has produced the fifth most influential man in the world! Jeremiah 51:19 The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name. Among the peoples of the earth, there is a group called “THE JACOB GROUP” whose portion is special. SPECIAL PORTION WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!! God is going to put special favor on some people. “Favor” is a divine perfume, a mysterious ingredient of heaven that can suspend laws for your sake and cause people to do for you what they wouldn’t normally have done. THE GOD OF FAVOR WILL ARISE FOR YOU! Man was able to discover that it is possible to transfer audio and visual files without any wires (through cellular forces and Bluetooth capabilities)!!! Jesus came to his own (with his spiritual blue tooth) but his own knew him not (by not pressing the “accept” button). Likewise, the Holy Ghost comes with the word for someone who would believe and receive it!!! SOMETHING SPECIAL WILL HAPPEN TO YOU IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME!!! God allowed Israel to enter Egypt but there was a special place called Goshen. When there was darkness in Egypt, there was light in Goshen. YOU ARE EXEMPTED FROM ALL THE PLAGUES OF EGYPT! God does special things for special people who do special things. David danced a special dance to God to the extent that his nakedness was exposed and his wife despised him! But David was not moved by the comments of his wife. It’s no wonder God did special things in his life. On the other hand, Micah (David’s wife) was the only woman in the bible who died barren! Psalm 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Beloved, you could be the one making God to smile because of your dance. Herod’s daughter danced to the pleasing of her father (the king) that he gave her an open ticket to ask for whatever she wanted!!! How much more our heavenly father??? But unfortunately, she had a mother who misled her causing her to miss her destiny. BY HIS GRACE, YOU WILL NOT BE MISLED!!! Genesis 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. Beloved, “famine” is when God has suspended the operation of the soil not to respond to seed. But a special boy named Isaac sowed in a land where there was famine and reaped a hundredfold in the same year!!! Why did Isaac get a harvest when there was famine? It was because his seed was special. Brethren, the ground responds to special seed. When you sow a “special” seed, God does “special” things. In Acts 19, the bible tells us that out of Paul’s body came forth aprons that healed the sick! Solomon became a reference point in Jesus’ sermon at the Mount of Olives “even Solomon in all of his glory was not arrayed like one of these”. Upon his return home, the father of the prodigal son put the best robe on him and declared a feast! PUT ON YOUR SPIRITUAL BLUETOOTH AND RECEIVE ALL THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU!!! Psalm 16:5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. NOONE WILL TAKE YOUR PORTION BECAUSE GOD WILL MAINTAIN IT FOR YOU!!! Singles, if God had a life partner for you, he will bring him/her to you. He that keepeth Israel does not sleep nor slumber. God has reserved a special deliverance for you. In Psalm 91 he said “a thousand shall fall at your side, ten thousand at your right side but THEY SHALL NOT COME NEAR YOU!!!” Beloved, special God has given us a special name that is above every other name. Special God has given us a special spirit (Holy Ghost). Special God has given us a special book (The Bible) which shall not depart out of our mouth but we are to meditate on it day and night and do according to all that is written therein. Special God has given us special power and special ways. His ways are not our ways but are HIGHER than ours. If you do not give God ten percent of your income, there are ways you’ll give the ninety percent (in various kinds of expenses). The ten percent is a spiritual insurance “I will rebuke the devourer for your sake”. Beloved, you may not know this special God or you may have known him but have drifted away. The only way this special God can do special things in your life is to accept him as your Lord and personal savior. If you’d like to do that at this time, say this short prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to you the way I am. Cleanse me. Give me a new heart and a new beginning. I believe you died for my sins on the cross of Calvary. I accept you as my Lord and personal savior. Come into my life and make me whole. The Lord gave the word, great is the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11)
