#POWERinPRAYER ---- THE EVENING DEVOTION ---- Dear Heavenly Father, The God who heals the broken hearted, and turn the sadness of the sorrowful to joy; let Your goodness be upon all that You have made. Bless me, this day, O God, the congregation of the poor and lift up those who are cast down. Bless, by Your Spirit all who may be discouraged and unhappy, and those who have succumbed to the spirit of depression; though troubled, Lord suffer them not to be distressed; though perplexed, save them from despair. We rebuke this day, Lord God, that spirit of suicide; and we plead the Blood for an hedge of protection about them who would even contemplate such an end. Grant them the strength, O God, to gird up the loins of their mind that they may experience Your great peace, not the worlds peace but the peace of God, which is surpasses all understanding and shall keep their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus this I pray. Amen.
