PRAISE REPORT!!! So, last night I fell off a ladder and Im quite sure I broke my ribs. I mean I could hear the splintering of bones even after the ladder splintered into pieces. I layed on the floor for about 3 1/2 minutes wind knocked out. After regaining my breath again i just layed there in PAIN. My first thought was Greg. He was also on the ladder and now on the floor... in pain. Neither of us were alright and after about 20 minutes we were actually able to get up and hobble around. lol what a sight we were. Ryan says my face was ghost white. After about what seemed like an hour or so, Ryan helped me decide that I was infact going in for X-rays. And he is so awesome that he insisted that he drive me there. Thank you Ryan Heather Isenga Alberda. Now before we departed Pastor Greg Diekema and I prayed over each other. Gregs simple but powerful words over me with hands laid were as follows Be healed. Now, when I get to urgent care, I can hardly walk and it hurts just to breath. I go through the admin process, into the exam room and in comes the Doc. He is extremely inquisitive and thorough. He offers me the shot (narcotics of course) and of course I decline. Doc, I just want to hear nothings broken, I tell him. I go in for several X-rays and when I return to the exam room the X-ray specialist as well as the doctor stick their head into the room and ask, have you ever broken your ribs before? I say, no and the one guy says, thats to bad and they leave. I look at Ryan puzzled and we both say, what? Then the doctor comes in and says, Your fine. Theirs nothing broken. Apparently somewhere along the way you must have broken your ribs because their is scare tissue from bones healing. I go home and am still in worse pain than when I left for the hospital. Now, the next day when I wake up I feel almost as though nothing ever happened!! Hmmmmmm. You tell me. I believe the same God that always has lived is still alive today and He heals and He raises the dead and He performs miracles for His glory. Thatss what I believe.
