PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING By Michael Hannah Lord, I am blessed today, for you have granted me access into your presence where there is fullness of joy. I thank you for giving me audience to receive the authority of your pleasures that are with me forevermore. This joy which comes from you gives me strength to endure each trial of my faith. I rejoice in this time of trial, and by your grace, I will allow the gold of this trial to be mine. You have given this gold (trial) to refine me, and to be a reflection of a pure relationship with you. I thank you for the instruction to purchase gold tried in the fire that I can receive the miracles you have prepared for me that will make me rich. I am comforted because when I begin to seek you and love you more than anything else, I believe that you will give me twice as much as I have asked for. Your word instructs me to seek your kingdom and your righteousness, and all these other things will be added unto me. I am elated to seek your kingdom first, and not to be found as one saying I am rich, have increased with goods and have need of nothing. I am wretched and poor, and I have need of you O Lord. I am so grateful that by your precious blood, you have shown me the path of life that has crowned you with glory and power. I offer you praise today, and I worship you for paying this awesome price for me to take my sins away. I am refreshed by the love that you have expressed toward me by your sufferings and by your death. But I am eternally grateful that you have demonstrated your glory by your resurrection and your power. I rejoice in this day, for your power cannot be diminished nor taken away. All glory, honor, and praise belong to you. I praise your holy name! * PRAYER INSIGHT by Don Grigsby Trials were never intended to punish us but to bless us with more than we ever had before. God in the midst of adversity is making room for the things that he has prepared for us. The trial of our faith is to focus our eyes on the unseen that will become seen. Just as Job had twice as much after the trial as before it, so does God flood our lives through his providence. Love lavishes the loads of blessing upon us in the face of every enemy.
