PREP CHECK OF THE DAY> Today, if you have a portable radio, or an emergency radio, check the batteries. Make sure you have fresh batteries, not in the radio, but duct taped to the outside. This will ensure your batteries will be in good working order when you need them most. You dont want to pull your radio out during an emergency and find corroded batteries in your radio. If you dont have a radio, now is the time to get one. Pick one with a NOAH Weather station, since most of our North Idaho disasters are weather related.
