PRESIDENT DILMA RECEIVES INDIGENOUS LEADERS The President Dilma Rousseff received on Wednesday (10), at the Presidential Palace, 27 indigenous leaders. At the meeting, it was agreed to set up a permanent forum to discuss and improve public policies for these populations. The Minister of Justice, Jose Eduardo Cardozo, said that the meeting was extremely productive and that the President is that the RELATIVES are always heard. "This, according to the table set, will meet in early August, precisely so that we can deepen the issues and identify where there are the convergences and where they can be obtained. Exactly in line to seek to improve the policies that we have in relation to indigenous peoples. (…) I believe that was a meeting that the Government can listen to, and that the indigenous leaders were able to manifest itself, and there were, side by side, a very significant desire that this dialogue to continue on a permanent basis, "said Cardozo.
