PROPHETIC DREAM FROM LAST NIGHT: Lately, every night I have asked the Lord to speak to me in dreams, He has done so in a powerful way. I asked the Lord for a dream last night and this is what He showed me in its interpretation: I was at the church I grew up in (meaning: the Church) and I was preaching normally, but I felt a shift and heard the Lord speak to me about activating the congregation in healing and miracles (meaning: the Lord is wanting to do a new thing). I knew that it would be new territory for the church so I started sharing about testimonies that I had experienced to raise faith (meaning: a new move of the Spirit; an increase in supernatural activity and an introduction of apostolic ministry). As soon as I started sharing, the pastor of the church and my mom, dressed in a wedding gown (meaning: church leadership and the Holy Spirit) approached me and the Pastor told me that they needed to interrupt me to reenact my moms wedding to my dad (who was dead and not present). I was so confused and frustrated and felt like it was a waste of time, but they pushed me out of the way and proceeded with this wedding reenactment. There was my mom, no one next to her... but the pastor had called in all of my dads old friends to be there (meaning: attempt to marry the Holy Spirit to something that was already dead and passed away i.e. an old move of God - calling old forms and connections to make it more meaningful). During the wedding, people were enamored and emotional - they felt safe and nostalgic, but nothing was really happening (meaning: self explanatory lol) and I waited till they finished but instead of introducing me back up, the pastor dismissed the people. I was, again, frustrated because people were leaving and had no desire to be a part of the healing service - but then I began to see a select few families, singles and young people move up to the front to get seats to the next phase of ministry (meaning: though some will be offended and leave, there will be a remnant of people in the Church who are hungry and ready for a fresh move of the Spirit). Hardly ever would I share my dreams on FB but I believe that this is a prophetic word for us as a Church to be ready to receive the fresh move of God that is coming in a new wineskin. Let us not try to marry the Holy Spirit to yesterdays manna. Lets go after the new thing!
